"I decided to try microneedling to improve some fine lines around my smile and an indented scar on my cheek from an acne lesion. I've had two treatments so far. For my first treatment, I did not use RescueMD post-procedure. I noticed significant redness that lasted 5 full days. After recovering completely, I didn't really notice an improvement in fine lines or my acne scar.
During my second treatment, I had RescueMD in my recovery arsenal and I began using it twice a day at home to soothe and reduce redness.

I stored my bottle of RescueMD in the fridge which felt incredibly soothing in the first 24 hours after my treatment when you have that "sunburn" feeling.
I was pretty amazed by how much my redness was reduced in the first 12 hours after the treatment compared to my first time. All redness was resolved within 72 hours of my treatment! I am 3 days post-procedure and I see a noticeable softening of my smile lines and the acne scar does appear more flat (though still showing a slight indentation).
Maybe it's the lapachol or the collagen boosting peptides, but something in the RescueMD serum is definitely working! I plan to continue using the complex for the next 2 weeks because my skin is still very sensitive and dry. Plus, I love my results so far!"
